HOW TO APPLY
The entry requirements for each course are listed in the course information section. Mature students without the necessary qualifications may be accepted, depending on their previous experience and subject to a successful audition/interview. You need to state the qualifications you've already achieved and any grades you have pending on the application form. We recommend that you apply for your course as early as possible, as some courses fill up quickly.
Once you're happy that you've chosen the right course, you need to apply. You this online, by selecting 'apply online' on the course page.
Once you're happy that you've chosen the right course, you need to apply via UCAS.com. You can use the 'Apply Now' link on the course page. As the Bristol Institute of Performing Arts is part of the South Gloucestershire and Stroud College group you will need to search for SGS when completing your application, the individual course and institutions codes can be found on each course page. Once you've completed your application you'll need to pay the UCAS application fee before submitting your application.

Within two to three weeks of receiving your application, we will invite you for an audition/interview.
We will offer you a place on a course, which may be conditional on you meeting certain entry qualifications. These requirements will be sent to you along with your offer. You will receive written confirmation of your offer from our Admissions Team. We will also advise if you have not been successful, and the next steps you can take.
Unconditional Offer - Your place is confirmed and there is no outstanding requirements, welcome to BIPA!
Conditional Offer - If you meet the conditions outlined in your offer then the place is yours.
Unsuccessful - Your application has been unsuccessful and unfortunately we're unable to offer you a place at this time.
Alternative - We would like to offer you a place on another one of our courses, our admissions team will contact you directly.
Waiting List - You've been placed on a waiting list, as soon as a place becomes available our admissions team will contact you directly.
Yes. You will need to accept your place as soon as possible. If you're applying for a university level course please ensure you accept your offer within the UCAS deadlines, failure to do so could result in an automatic withdraw of your offer.
