Exploring the lives and legacies of the Canonical five women murdered by Jack the Ripper in Whitechapel, London in 1888, "Echoes of the Five" moves beyond the sensationalised narrative of the infamous killer and aims to humanise Mary Ann “Polly” Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes and Mary Jane Kelly. Depicting their resilience, struggles, and individuality. Challenging the belief and portrayal by the media that they were just prostitutes and not daughters, sisters, friends, lovers, wives, widows and mothers.
