Our Level 2 Performing Arts programme is designed as an educational stepping stone, equivalent to four GCSEs. It provides students with a solid foundation in the performing arts, nurturing their confidence, performance skills, creativity, and exploration. This programme serves as a pathway to progression, helping students discover their preferred performance styles while preparing them for further studies in the field.
During this programme, students engage in a wide range of performance styles, allowing them to explore and experiment with different approaches to the performing arts. Whether it's acting, dance, or music, students have the opportunity to develop their skills and gain a comprehensive understanding of the diverse world of performance. During their one-year journey, students will dive into an exciting array of activities and projects. They will explore fundamental acting techniques, dance styles, and musical elements, allowing them to build a strong and versatile skill set. Practical workshops, group performances, and individual showcases will be integral to their learning experience. Students will also have the chance to work on collaborative projects, where they'll develop teamwork and communication skills while creating captivating performances. These performances are hosted exclusively within our own venues, providing a supportive environment for students to showcase their talents and build their stage presence.
In addition to the course, students will actively participate in our Plus+ programme, which is dedicated to enhancing their personal and social development. This holistic approach ensures that students not only grow as performers but also as well-rounded individuals prepared for the challenges of the performing arts industry and wider world.
With a focus on progression, upon completing the Level 2 Performing Arts programme, students receive a fast-track to recall audition for all of our Level 3 programmes. This opportunity streamlines their transition into more advanced studies and continues their journey in the world of performing arts.
